Sagunto

At the foot of the Sierra Calderona, Sagunto, the strategic capital of Camp de Morvedre guards an illustrious past. The remains of Roman Saguntum enjoy well-deserved fame in the history books.

Sagunto, in Valencia Terra i Mar, consists of two urban nuclei; the historical city and the modern nucleus of the Puerto de Sagunto, which offers a long tradition economic growth and a coastline of over 13 kilometres of fine sandy beaches, clean waters and a variety of tourist services, which can be seen in the webcam at the beach of the Puerto de Sagunto, just one of two of the localities beaches whose quality has been recognised with the Blue Flag of the FEEE.
