Orpesa - Oropesa del Mar

First time visitors to Oropesa del Mar, in Castellón Costa Azahar, will be pleasantly surprised by its varied coastline. As seen in this webcam. Oropesa has miles of beaches to the north, ideal for nautical sports, and the Bay of La Concha further on, with fine sand and a beautiful promenade. To the south lie the modern facilities of the sports Port, where the foothills of the sierra Oropesa reach the sea, forming a lovely landscape of cliffs and coves surrounded by Mediterranean woodland. Next to the coast, the ancient outline of the castle provides a good view of the small and picturesque town centre that has now expanded outwards into a pretty residential area.
